You will be tasked with: - Organizing, controlling, and conducting the company's accounting activities to ensure they meet legal standards and provide clear, timely financial information. - Managing the organization's tax payments. - Providing necessary accounting and financial data to regulatory authorities. - Producing financial and accounting reports for managerial decision-making. Your responsibilities will also include: - Enforcing IFRS standards, verifying their application and efficacy. - Causating the company's accounting records in line with legal and fiscal stipulations. - Executing and reviewing periodic closings as defined by the company. - Compiling and authenticating interim and annual financial statements, including notes, following prevailing regulations. - Delivering reports as demanded by business units, audit institutions, and the statutory auditor regarding relevant matters. University degree in accounting with a valid professional license. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in Colombia (experience with other countries in the region is an advantage). Analytical, innovative and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills. English at B2 level or above (mandatory). Conversational Portuguese is an advantage.
