Responsibilities:
Provides skilled speech therapy treatment plans in accordance with the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), and by completing and interpreting 6-month reviews and annual evaluations of patients.
Adheres to state requirements for supervision of Clinical Fellows to provide services with the highest care standards Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by collaborating with community center boards for services through the public schools and/or providing recommendations for community services.
Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
Maintains patient records confidentially.
Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.
Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations Additional Responsibilities: Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
Participates in transdisciplinary meets as set by the early intervention program.
Maintains professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers, service coordinators, and other professionals as it relates to collaboration of care for the patient.
Keeps regular home visits as approved by Manager.
Directs all patient scheduling matters through the early intervention coordinator.
Attends meetings as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Graduate from an ASHA accredited Speech Therapy program
Current State Speech Therapist license
Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
Current CPR certification
Efficient problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication skills and time management skills
Must keep best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activities
Collaborative nature
