Job Description - Specialist, Supply Chain (30007892) GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position is part of the operations team, reporting to Assoc.
Manager, Supply Chain Management.
The role is responsible for ensuring the proper receipt, storage, and redistribution of Ansell products to customers, as well as supervising distribution center operations in Bogota, including management of facility and personnel.
DC attributes: 521 plus SKU's.2,480 racked pallet positions (total) and samples.Lot controlled, non-lot controlled, and sterile product.5 different product segments.RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES Oversee Distribution Operations for Colombia; serve as key liaison with commercial leadership and regional functional management groups (Customs and Compliance, Transportation, Regulatory) to execute day-to-day operations.Manage all aspects of receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery of finished goods according to SOP.
Ensure compliance with service level metrics through audit of proper procedures and documentation of product movements and inventory control.
Notify regional coordination team of any discrepancies in the receiving process.Ensure 3PL fulfillment of all customer orders and customer-specific needs, including custom labeling, documentation, and order preparation.
Audit outbound shipments with freight vendors for efficiency, accuracy, and optimal customer service.Train, review, and motivate 3PL Distribution Center personnel as needed.
Supervise and coach 3PL supervisors, leads, and associates on an as-needed basis.
Conduct periodic 3PL service-related reviews.Assist 3PL teams in managing inventory planning holds, repacks, quality issues, donations, product sampling, and QA & FDA holds to prevent unintended product release.Support day-to-day operations, including:
• Managing all outbound requests from CS, supply, customs, marketing, sales, etc.
• Handling day-to-day exceptions as needed.
• Identifying and resolving delivery-related issues through timely communication with customers, carriers, and Ansell's CS team.
• Supervising cycle counts and inventory matches.
• Updating and implementing new logistics processes according to regulations or temporary projects.
• Overseeing 3PL service provider performance on KPIs.Other site-related accountabilities:
a.
Oversee 3PL facility safety & security, meeting fire department and OSHA requirements, resolving issues, and maintaining safety records.
b.
Oversee 3PL DC facility, including preventative maintenance, recordkeeping, and housekeeping.
c.
Act as back-up support for respective team members.
d.
Support training and communication plans as requested.
e.
Participate in cross-functional teams that support process improvements and/or team development.KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trading, Business Administration, or related field.
Job Experience
Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience in distribution.
Desirable experience includes working with logistic providers (3PL).
Knowledge and Skills
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and leadership skills.

• Ability to influence internally and externally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (bilingual needed).
