Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the Cyber Problem Management team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Accountabilities Responsible to conduct the post-incident response process for cyber incidents globally. Aiming to identify and eradicate root cause, the Specialist Cyber Problem Management chairs the post-mortems meeting, including preparing the incident report, then documenting action items. Perform follow-ups with action items owners for clarification and provides help with coordination as needed. The Specialist Cyber Problem Management will assist the bank in strengthening the security posture to eradicate gaps identified during a cyber incident or cyber investigation. Lead inter-regional, inter-disciplinary discussions with large or small groups. Where Spanish language is required, assist to facilitate effective communication between all teams when required. Support the completion of the Cyber Problem Management team's reports and communications, including translations to Spanish when required. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Interaction with multiple Lines of Business. Understanding of regulatory bodies requirements and reporting. Technical Writing: Technical information captured during incidents needs to be presented in an understandable language by the general public. Facilitate communication between two or more parties. Education / Experience 1 year of Cyber Security experience. 3-5 years of experience in one of the following: IT Support / Development. Able to understand technical conversations. Audit or Risk Management (nice to have). Ticket / Case Management experience. Technical writer experience.
