About the role
The ideal person is one who is a well known leader in aesthetic taste with the ability to give practical advice on creating a tasteful spa environment, and translate that into eye for detail and crispness.
They understand market trends and have a proven track record for collaborating with Directors of Marketing to put together sound business plans and supporting action steps.
They are articulate and confident, able to advocate the importance and relevance of the spa experience in both out urban and resort locations.
What you will do
- Coordinates the delivery of spa services, including salon, skin care, fitness and wellness, massage, program coordinating, reservations, reception desk and locker room areas
- Enthusiastic, creative and able to develop Spa concept relevant to the local and international customers
- Able to maintain operating criteria / spa concepts and be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all Spa related services in relation to consistency with policies, philosophy and objectives for the Spa
- Maximize revenue and profit throughout the department
- Curious about Spa latest trend and constant innovation
What you bring
- Strong communicator who is fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Previous experience in managing spa in luxury segment
- Excellent knowledge of handling all guests with high level of hospitality and professionalism
- Preferred preopening experience in similar environment
- Accountable for managing the budget and controlling expenses for the department
- Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the latest industry trends
- Ability to promote growth through increasing revenue and daily operational efficiency while maintaining healthy spa morale
- Playing an active role in developing strategic business plans that support the delivery of the budget
- Focus on developing new treatments / concepts
