Purpose The Sourcer will be responsible for searching, identifying, and making the first contact with the appropriate candidates for the different positions in all service units. Additionally, they will support the recruitment process. Accountabilities Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. The Sourcer will carry out the following tasks, however, it is not limited exclusively to: Sourcing CVs for the different positions to recruit. As part of the sourcing process, this person will be in charge of the different alliances with universities and other places where they can find candidates. Perform pre-screening phone calls and verify a candidate's qualifications and experience. Assess the English level of potential candidates. Schedule interviews, follow up during the recruitment process, and update employee records. Upload job vacancies on the different job portals. Support the work of searching for candidates and preparing market research reports. Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates. Handle records and paperwork. Support the accomplishment of hiring goals. Resolve issues as fast as possible (e.g., interview cancellations). Any other activity that is generated in the fulfillment of the objectives of the position or area. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk. Education / Experience Bachelor's degree or student of the last semester of Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields. Previous experience in identification and support in selection processes of 6 months, for waves and specialized processes.
