Accountabilities Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Responsible for providing specialized technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support for a fullstack environment. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting CIAD pipelines that are delivered on time and within budget. Create scripts for pre and post-deployment tasks. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Support the IT areas that need development support ensuring the testing, implementation and other IT areas have a good understanding of the solutions. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporated into day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles. Education / Experience / Other Information Must have: 3 or more years of iOS development with Swift 5+ Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, Auto Layout, and building interfaces programmatically. Good knowledge of coding patterns such as MVVM, MVVM-C, and clean code best practices. Good knowledge of Unit-Testing and Integration-Testing. Experience in integrating Third Party libraries and SDKs with Swift Package Manager. Experience building applications that consume RESTful APIs. Competent in software engineering and computer science principles, such as SOLID. Experience with tools such as: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket. Comfortable working on a large-scale product as part of a large and complex enterprise, with both new technologies and building on top of legacy systems. English level B1. Result-oriented, highly motivated, have a keen eye for details, and have very good analytical skills to deliver efficient solutions. Curious about technologies, adaptive to changes, a good team player, works efficiently even under pressure, takes ownership of the tasks, and possesses good interpersonal and communication skills. Nice to have: Experience with TDD. Deep knowledge of iOS design best practices and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines. Working Conditions Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
