Job Requisition ID: R23677 Job Title Software Development Engineer Location Bogota About the Business The Business Intelligence and Engineering teams require a knowledgeable agile practitioner and developer to support our product development, evolution, and maintenance, contributing to the Agency and Demand 360+ solutions suite. Summary of the Role You will work collaboratively with team members in agile, building production scale components based on the platform tech stack, integrating or migrating new or existing components, and contributing and collaborating in design production grade based on Python. In this role you'll: Partner with Business Analysts and Quality Assurance members to scope functionality required to meet business requirements. Design and build components. Interact with other team members during solution reviews and process refinement initiatives. Contribute to the SLDC to increase quality, code coverage, and reduce technical debt. Execute performance and stress testing. Support production on a rotational basis (planned). About the Ideal Candidate Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of software development experience. Technical Competencies Expertise in Python and GraphQL/Apollo middleware, including state management techniques. Strong scripting experience. Experience developing solutions for deployment within Docker containers and Kubernetes. Data Visualization experience (Highcharts, DeckGL, etc). Good grasp of data modeling. Experience with building end-to-end (full stack), back end (DB), and hands-on knowledge for end-to-end design and development. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/Helm, GIT, and CI/CD using Jenkins. Experience working with database systems. Knowledge of the BI industry. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication skills to translate back-end design concepts into reusable assets.
