Software Development Engineer About Your Business Area/Department: Disruption handling focuses on managing any unplanned events (such as weather, strikes, or other causes that ground planes) to minimize impacts for both airlines and travelers. Within Airport and Airlines Operations, the Disruption department provides comprehensive products and solutions, enabling airlines to efficiently manage daily disruptions and large-scale disruptions affecting the entire network. This empowers customers to self-rebook and helps agents monitor the efficiency of the process. Within this department, we are looking for talented DEV engineers to join the Disruption team. You will design and manage the delivery of features related to disruption products while maintaining high-quality standards. Summary of the Role: As a DEV Engineer embedded in an agile feature team, your mission is to design, code, test, and maintain the best technical solutions and architecture for our disruption products. Your work will ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for travelers affected by disruption events while providing sustainable solutions for airlines. Work independently within a plan set by your manager, with some guidance on more complex situations. Specific Accountabilities: Analyze Specifications: Define user requirements for developing new or upgrading existing software solutions. Design Systems and Code: Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies. Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation. Develop software according to company standards. Model, design, and implement databases. Test and Maintain the Software: Conduct unit, package, and performance tests to ensure quality in line with company guidelines. Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning as necessary to finalize the product. Support customers by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Managers or Product Definition Analysts.
