Job Description : We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to join our remote, global team. Youll be working closely with a North American customer base, particularly in major U.S. cities like New York, California, Florida, and Chicago. This role is perfect for someone who is energized by social engagement, has a passion for interior design, and enjoys using social media to connect with people. Youll play a vital role in guiding customers through design consultations and engaging them on social platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Social Media Engagement & Community Involvement : Act as the voice of Norse Interiors by creating and engaging with social media content across platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and Google My Business.Identify and join online communities and forums focused on interior design, offering guidance without using hard sales tactics.Create content that feels warm, aspirational, and supportive, using our content archive and social media trends as inspiration.Stay up-to-date with U.S. interior design trends and culture to ensure relevance in content creation and customer engagement.Maintain flexibility in replying to social media interactions, ensuring timely responses to keep conversations flowing.Design Advisor & Customer Support : Conduct 3-5 virtual design sessions per week, offering customers aesthetic guidance and technical assistance.Provide quick hand-drawn sketches and create product shopping lists using both Norse Interiors and IKEA websites.Follow up with customers after consultations, providing ongoing support until they make a purchase or decide otherwise.Use insights from customer interactions to suggest improvements to products and processes.Be available for pre-scheduled design sessions, which may include occasional evenings or weekends.Content Creation & Feedback Loop : During the first 3 weeks, focus on workflow creation and learning the brand tone through meetings with owners.After 3 weeks, create 3-4 tailored social media posts per week, adjusting content to suit the style of each platform.Engage with the community daily, ensuring 5-10 interactions or replies to keep conversations active.Evaluate the effectiveness of content and adapt based on performance, focusing on maintaining high engagement levels.Compensation & Measurement : This role is compensated weekly.Success is measured by the quality and quantity of content and interactions, not by clocked hours. Output and engagement will be key metrics.Qualifications : Fluency in English with excellent written communication skills.Strong understanding of U.S. culture, humor, and trends, particularly within the interior design space.Experience using social media platforms for brand engagement.A passion for interior design and helping customers bring their design visions to life.Ability to create quick hand-drawn sketches during consultations.Flexibility in managing a schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends.Please Note : This position is part of an ongoing sourcing pipeline, so the hiring process may take a little time.
