About the role As a SMB Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and identifying new opportunities for our Colombian business, carrying out the complete sales cycle and ensuring the fulfillment of the goals established by the company. What you will do Achieve assigned sales quotas in the designated portfolio and meet expectations for profitability. Develop new Colombian merchants by actively identifying merchant prospects, additional verticals, and market opportunities. Effectively articulate PayU's sales proposition in relation to prospects' technical requirements and business needs. Manage the full sales process actively and successfully: lead generation, pitching to new clients, negotiations, closing (signing agreements), and facilitating the Go Live process. Oversee strong internal project management with key stakeholders and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Risk, Pricing, Legal & Compliance, Integration, Operations, Technology, and Product. Maintain end-to-end ownership of assigned accounts. Ensure account performance in terms of sales, profitability, quality, and service. Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards. Project-manage significant changes affecting the account, including major new products, changes to business processes, service levels, and terms of trade. Build and maintain product knowledge by staying informed about product enhancements and industry trends, and provide feedback to product and sales management. Participate in ad-hoc marketing activities to enhance PayU's visibility in current and expanding markets. Effectively interact with the Marketing and Partnerships teams, as well as with Sales Engineering, Product, and Technology departments. What you need to succeed Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field. 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B business, banking, fintech, startups, or retail e-commerce. Experience in budget management, forecasting, pricing, and account profitability reviews. A good understanding of the payments and fintech industry is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
