We are seeking a highly experienced Shopify Plus expert to help us better set up our Shopify instance, focusing on streamlining product management, enhancing user experience, and optimizing our product catalog. Our ideal candidate will have extensive Shopify Plus experience and a solid dropshipping operations background. Responsibilities: Development Environment: Set up a development environment within Shopify to create and test our new Store. Manage the transition from the development environment to the live store, ensuring a seamless transition using the existing live store URL. Product Synchronization and Integration: Integrate approximately 1 million products from six key vendors using CSV data sources provided. Manage overlapping products by determining the cheapest option based on price only. Conduct manual product integration for one vendor, requiring a detailed review of provided high-level instructions. Synchronize product data from four vendors using Inventory Source, with updates reflecting vendors' stock status, prices, and product discontinuation. Import and manage data from one vendor via a CSV aggregator, handling the monthly update of over 300,000 products. Website Design and User Experience (UX): Retain the existing website aesthetic while enhancing visitor functionality. Design and implement sophisticated search filters, including options to filter by vendor, availability, or product specifications. Build a system for personalized recommendations, utilizing existing customer data and implementing customer logins to store data more reliably. Implement a guest checkout option and provide an option for customers to contact sales directly via WhatsApp. Ongoing Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance, ensuring that the pricing database is updated no less than monthly. Ensure that all store aspects function correctly and reflect the latest vendor updates during US PST working hours. Requirements: Proven experience with Shopify Plus, including at least three years of hands-on experience. Strong background in dropshipping operations and managing large-scale product integrations. Proficient in using Inventory Source, CSV aggregators, and HTML for manual product integrations. Excellent skills in website design and UX, with a track record of creating visually appealing and highly functional online stores. Strong attention to detail, particularly in managing large datasets and ensuring product data accuracy. Ability to collaborate effectively with our Operational Manager to implement updates and maintain the store. Deliverables: A fully functional Shopify Plus store with integrated products, categorized and updated as needed. An attractive, user-friendly website design that improves user experience and simplifies the purchasing process. A documented process for ongoing product updates and maintenance. Timeline and Payment Structure: Timeline will be outlined for each deliverable based on its importance to the revenue generation of the business, with a focus on resolving pricing issues that have led to canceled orders. We are open to either hourly or milestone payments, depending on your recommendation. For hourly work, please provide an estimate of the hours necessary to complete the work outlined. Tools and Platforms: The majority of the tools and platforms are already set up and licensed. If any are not, we will be responsible for the costs, and you will be responsible for the configuration. Acceptance Criteria: Testing will focus on ensuring basic functionality and a smooth user experience. A simple run-through of the customer experience on the site will be performed to validate the setup.
