The Fine Print: Your Role at a Glance Employment Type: Indefinite term contract Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM PST; Weekends off Work Setup: Work from home From Packing to Processing: Your Role Unwrapped Develop statistical and financial models for parcel and LTL shipping. Work cross-functionally to aggregate data and conduct service level, cost, and transit analysis at both aggregate and unit levels. Search for rate overcharges and fees daily, weekly, and monthly in reports. Actively monitor shipment open order reports and confirm orders are routed for picking and shipping within required timelines. Collaborate across various departments to understand requirements and objectives. Establish and cultivate trust with internal stakeholders by acting as a consultative analyst and identifying solutions through root-cause analysis. Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Coordinate with the Shipping Manager to ensure all orders are shipped on time and comply with customer routing guides. Log into customer shipping portals to confirm that LTL and partial pickups are scheduled and executed. Organize, review, and become an expert at reviewing invoices. Maintain an outbound routing and discrepancies log. Requirements Skills That Get the Job Delivered Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping administration (preferred). High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience with Mass Sporting Goods customers (preferred). Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Strong sense of urgency. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create ad-hoc reports. Team player willing to work outside of direct responsibilities when needed. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively. Familiarity with shipments through customers' truckers, LTL, UPS, and FedEx. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple departments. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of warehouse-related software.
