Job Summary Our Services Organization is growing at a high pace, that's why we are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Service Engineers to join our team in Colombia. As a Service Engineer, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical products and support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services in food processing equipment (i.e. heat exchanger, pressure transmitter, homogenizer, valves, pumps, electric diagrams reading, DTI) and/or packaging equipment (i.e. fillers, distribution equipment) of less complex nature. You will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company's reputation for commitment and service worldwide. That's why we consider this role to be of great importance. In this position, you will be travelling extensively in Colombia, and occasionally abroad. Available vacancies in Bogotá. What you will do As a Service Engineer you will: Execute installation tasks, assembling processing machines. Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations. Execute timely reporting of all discovered Technical Issues according to the QTIM processes. Execute installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations. Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service. Inform about any business opportunity discovered at the customer through the relevant channels. Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that Tetra Pak's reputation is sustained. Execute and complete all relevant reports in an accurate and timely way. Distribute reports according to existing procedures and ensure that proper handover is done. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues. We believe you have A Bachelor´s degree in automation, process or mechanical engineering or equivalent. +4 years experience in Installations, maintenance and/or service work, strongly desired in Tetra Pak Machines. Experience in Food and Beverage industry is required. Ability to independently deliver preventive maintenance, installation tasks and rebuilding kit installations. Some understanding of automation systems such as Allen Bradley frequency drives, Profibus, Siemens PLC programming software, Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 PLC programming software, Device Net, ABB or similar. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to handle multiple stakeholders with a customer focused mindset. A commitment to a strong quality culture. A commitment to a strong health and safety culture. A fluent level of writing and speaking English is nice to have. A valid driver's license. Highly structured and organized mindset.
