Job Description The Senior Video Editor is a highly skilled professional responsible for creating innovative and visually engaging video editing, color correction, VFX, and SFX. They contribute to the success of projects by delivering exceptional design solutions and inspiring the team in video editing and post-production tasks. Qualifications KEY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Conceptualization and execution of creative video editing solutions, including VFX and SFX integration. Collaborate with the video editing team and project stakeholders. Participate in project planning and resource allocation. Create engaging 2D and 3D animations and motion graphics. Contribute to video editing, color correction, and post-production tasks. Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards. Stay updated with animation, video production, and post-production trends. Mentor and support junior members of the video editing team. MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage the video editing team, guiding them in creating exceptional video editing, VFX, and SFX work. Collaborate with creative directors and project managers to ensure that project objectives are met and delivered on time and on budget. Monitor and manage project schedules and resources, ensuring efficient project workflow and successful project completion. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to promote their professional growth and development. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the video editing team. Encourage a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development among team members. Additional Information MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci). Strong understanding of color grading and correction techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE: Proficiency in visual effects (VFX) and special effects (SFX) software. Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Maya).
