RUCKUS Networks, a CommScope business, is looking to add a Senior Systems Engineer, based in Bogota, Colombia. How You'll Help us Connect the World A technical sales engineer who provides the account team with technical sales support, end user requirements & technology insights – also becoming a Trusted Advisor for the end user client. This role is generally a remote home-office based position within our RUCKUS Technical Sales Systems Engineers team.
The position will gravitate around customer-focused Account presales engineering tasks and/or partner vertical/channel partners onboarding and development activity. End customer-focused or technology-focused technical sales; providing high-level solutions technical support, enablement, and guidance to partners and important end customers.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the identification and development of Opportunities in partnership with Account manager to help drive the development of a territory account plan based on enabling channels and knowledge of local market demand and best solutions in given use cases.Qualify Opportunities by collaborating with Account manager and partners to define customer business problems in a technical context positioning adequate solutions.Develop & Present Solutions by influencing the technical elements in RFP and leading the development of proof of concept, including presentation and documentation of test results.Provide feedback to the account team on opportunity performance and request individual feedback.Required Qualifications for Consideration Bachelor's degree (BS/BA minimum) in Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering; Computer Programming; Information Technology; Management Information Systems; Computer Science; Mathematics.Minimum 7 years of experience in Enterprise Technical Sales.Strong verbal and written communications skills – fully bilingual English-Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).General knowledge of SE technical skills; working with IP and WLAN technologies.Strong problem-solving skills to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, Layer 4-7 application services, security authentication methods and products.Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time within Territory and region (Latam).You Will Excite us if you Have: Strong technical presales/engineering experiences working with Service Providers in a Sales Through model towards enterprise segments.Ruckus product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings.Advanced level networking industry certification like CCIE, BPIPA, JNCIE, PCNSE, Aruba, Ruckus, CWNP etc. are preferred.Why CommScope: CommScope is on a quest to deliver connectivity that empowers how we live, work, and learn.
