Senior Software Engineer

Software Engineer Location: Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Responsibilities: Collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
Developing customization for FIS payment products.
Designing algorithms to create new software programs and systems.
Producing efficient and performative code based on requirements.
Testing and deploying programs and applications.
Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.
Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
SKILLS: Must have: Deep knowledge in payments applications and transactional systems.
Great knowledge in banking or processing back office.
High knowledge and experience on ISO 8583.
High proficiency and experience in C++ programming language.
Proficiency on Oracle Database and Linux.
Proficiency in Java or Angular.
Language Spanish (advanced/fluent) and English (advanced reading, writing, and listening).
Computer Science bachelor degree or similar.
