I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for people located in Brazil for a Senior SDET Position to work on a project in the energy storage sector.
Responsibilities: 1.
Conduct thorough testing of software and hardware components for ongoing development projects to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
2.
Work on performance testing.
3.
Work with closed-loop control algorithms.
4.
Create and maintain comprehensive test cases using Agile/Scrum software development methodologies to support continuous integration and delivery.
5.
Assess algorithms used in the projects to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency from both business and technical perspectives.
6.
Provide team leadership and influence application vision.
7.
Work independently with little day-to-day guidance and achieve targets and goals.
Requirements for this challenge: 1.
Strong development experience, particularly with Python.
2.
Experience using Performance testing tools.
3.
B.S.
degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
4.
Experience testing closed-loop control algorithms.
5.
Experience testing software using the Agile/Scrum methodologies.
6.
Experience using a Test Case Management System such as Testrail.
7.
Experience capturing day-to-day activities in JIRA.
8.
Experience evaluating and implementing new and state-of-the-art technology to address challenging customer problems.
9.
Experience in forming design and doing analysis of a system or new requirements.
10.
Experience in developing test plans/procedures to assess adherence to requirements.
11.
Github experience.
12.
CI/CD experience.
13.
Advanced English level (written, reading, and conversational).
Nice to have: 1.
Experience in programming languages such as C/C++.
2.
Familiarity with power generation and/or grid level control systems.
3.
Experience with Power System Market Applications.
4.
Experience with Industrial Protocols: Modbus TCP, DNP3, IEC 61850.
5.
Experience in modern web client technologies such as HTML5.
6.
Experience with AWS, Openstack, Docker.
7.
Experience with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks.
8.
Experience testing diverse COTS or Open Source Software.
9.
Experience assessing existing products.
