Our ?ustomer's product is an innovative platform designed to seamlessly integrate advertising with clients' products, enabling them to maximize ad revenue and enhance overall business efficiency.
In close collaboration with the customer's team and actively exploring new features, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the platform for optimal efficiency.
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include :
Designing and implementing robust back-end and front-end solutions using Ruby and JavaScript Introducing new features to enrich the existing platform Enhancing the performance of the current software while upholding high code quality standards
Requirements
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of professional software development experience with Ruby and RoR
- Familiarity with RoR upgrades, particularly transitioning from version 4 to 5, showcasing the ability to manage and execute seamless version transitions
- Experience writing and communication with backend services using RESTful APIs, gRPC, or messaging-based systems
- Experience using Git for version control
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts effectively
Would be a plus
- Experience with Backbone.js
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience with AWS
- Passion for following SOLID Design Principles
- Experience in the AdTech industry

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Drive the Ruby on Rails (RoR) upgrade process, ensuring smooth transitions and optimizing performance for increased application efficiency
- Provide architectural input when designing new features, with an eye toward fault tolerance and low latency
- Maintain high code quality standards, including tests and documentation, and encourage the same by providing constructive code reviews to collaborators
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure the smooth functioning of web applications
- Take active ownership of the product and improve the customer experience by forming effective collaborations with Product Management,
Testing, Data Engineering, and other key disciplines
- Work closely with other engineers to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate the technical feasibility of new features
