JOB SUMMARY: The QA Engineer will be responsible for owning and executing all test plans for Lone Wolf products, including feature testing, end-to-end testing, regression and smoke testing as needed. The QA Engineer will work with product owners and other customer-facing teams to define and review requirements for new features, enhancements, define the approach for comprehensive automation and regression testing. The QA Engineer will recommend process improvements and tools to develop a highly-efficient, continuous integration development environment while working with the engineering and IT team to design and operate test environments, staging platforms, labs, configurations, etc. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: We are looking for a self-organized and result-oriented QA Engineer with a quality-oriented perspective who must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and sound independent decision making. Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies and practices with a proven ability to efficiently write effective test cases that provide in depth coverage of functionality. Experience in collaborating with product and engineering teams to understand product requirements to ensure that they are implemented correctly. Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Performing all testing activities across one or more assigned projects, utilizing processes, methods, metrics and software that ensure the quality, reliability and systems safety and security. Test approach defining will include decomposing the business and technical requirements into test case scenarios, defining test data requirements, managing test case creation, devising contingencies plans and other preparation activities. Working closely with the support and client success teams to diagnose customer issues, reproduce in the test environments, and verify fixes provided by development. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: 5+ years of experience with industry-standard software testing tools for automation and test management, such as Zephyr, Selenium, and familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA. Understand the interfacing applications, test environments and our tools and methodologies. Experience working in an Agile development environment with positive results. Experience leading small to medium size teams and mentoring junior team members to achieve personal and organizational goals. Experience with source control and/or config management tools such as GIT, SVN, Bitbucket etc. Background as a software developer and/or coder is a big plus. Strong communication skills, a passionate commitment to quality, and a collaborative, team-oriented working style. Experience with relational and non-relational database testing is a bonus.
