Our Software Engineers in Test are embedded alongside developers, using our latest in-house automation framework in Java to create reliable and comprehensive automation tests. Teams rely on flexible but standardized processes to ensure test coverage, feature quality, and regression checks. As a Sr. SDET , you will be a part of an agile team where your role will be leading the test automation efforts, including implementing effective test automation frameworks and ensuring that automation efforts are aligned with quality goals and support the ability to deliver a quality product at the desired velocity. Responsibilities: Design, create, and maintain effective test automation framework and UI test automation. Establish test automation practices, standards and guidelines within the team. Ongoing maintenance and improvement of the test automation framework and activities. Ensures test automation addresses business needs and technical challenges, from high-level functionality to individual feature detail. Advises the team on which tests are valuable to automate. Determine the appropriate application level (UI, API, etc.) at which to execute automated tests. Work with the delivery team to improve the testability of the application under test. Work with the delivery team to ensure automated tests are integrated with the delivery pipeline. Develop and enhance test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams. Requirements: 1+ years of Cypress experience or comparable experience in Selenium or Playwright. Ability to troubleshoot failing UI test automation and refactor code for maintainability and efficiency. Ability to propose approaches across different test automation levels (Unit, API, Component, and E2E). Experience collaborating with the team and developers to create processes to support automation. Ability to communicate with business and technical teams. Experience building test frameworks, refactoring, and managing large sets of test cases for efficiency. Experience setting up and maintaining test automation with CI/CD tools. Experience with component testing, mocking dependencies, and isolating components is highly desirable.
