The role of Senior Product Designer for Customer Support Experience at Cruise is crucial for transforming the way customers engage with and experience support services. This position requires someone with knowledge of design principles, user experience, and customer insights to develop intuitive, engaging, and efficient support solutions across different platforms. Key Responsibilities: Take the lead in crafting innovative customer support experiences that are intuitive, effective, and scalable, making sure they are in line with Cruises mission and the needs of the customers. Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Operations, and other key stakeholders to tackle complex design challenges within the customer support framework. Manage the entire design process from the initial concept through to execution, which includes brainstorming, prototyping, user testing, and the final rollout. Use data and customer feedback to continuously refine and enhance the customer support experience. Establish and uphold design systems and standards for customer support interfaces to ensure consistency and high quality across all points of contact. Promote user-centered design practices within the product development cycle, ensuring that the customer support experience is both seamless and positive. Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in product design, UX/UI design, or a similar area, evidenced by a portfolio that highlights projects which have enhanced customer experience. Deep knowledge of design fundamentals, human-computer interaction, and user experience best practices. Exceptional skills in communication, collaboration, and project management, capable of leading and contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Skilled in using design and prototyping software like Figma, Protopie, Adobe XD, among others. Experienced in performing user research and usability testing to guide design choices. Driven by a passion to tackle complex challenges and a steadfast commitment to focusing on the customer. Preferred Qualifications: Background in designing for customer support or service-focused platforms. Knowledgeable about Cruises products and the autonomous vehicle sector. Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other programming languages to grasp technical limitations and work collaboratively with engineering teams. The salary range for this position is $126,000 - $185,300. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
