We are seeking a Senior Principal WiFi Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you will drive the architecture, design, and development of cutting-edge, carrier-grade wireless access points, enabling enterprises and carriers to stay ahead of the rapidly growing demand for high-bandwidth applications. How You'll help us connect the world: Design and develop WiFi features that align with evolving standards, focusing on high performance, low latency, and guaranteed service delivery. Collaborate with chip vendors to drive innovation, enhance SDKs, and support multi-platform, multi-standard solutions. Work closely with product management to shape the feature roadmap and align with market needs. Collaborate across teams to manage project deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and product optimization. Lead technical reviews and architectural discussions to guide the team in adopting the best solutions. Act as a technical anchor, guiding the team and focusing on customer-driven outcomes. Partner with system engineers and product managers to meet customer requirements. Identify, hire, and mentor top engineering talent, building a strong team focused on continuous innovation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Networking or Wireless and 10+ years of relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of WiFi access point (AP) architecture and WiFi standards. Experience in guiding architectural and design changes in WiFi AP products. Expertise in embedded systems, kernel, and device drivers. Proven experience with SDK integration across multiple platforms. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, pushing the boundaries of technology. A strong mentor with a passion for building and leading talented, high-performing teams. THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE needs to be in the office 3 days a week. Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $160,000.00-$210,000.00. The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan.
