We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and automating infrastructure with a focus on Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Linux. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
2. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process.
3. Manage and optimize Kafka clusters for high-throughput, low-latency data streaming.
4.
Maintain and scale PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
5. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent downtime.
6. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
7. Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
8. Ensure security best practices are followed across all systems and deployments.
9. Document processes, architectures, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
3. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management.
4. Experience with Kafka, including cluster management, configuration, and performance tuning.
5. Proficiency in managing PostgreSQL databases, including backup, recovery, and replication.
6. Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and system administration.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
8. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
9. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
