Role reports to: Corporate Affairs Director Latin America North Location: Cali, Colombia / Bogotá, Colombia Travel: 25% What you will do You are responsible for delivering the Government Affairs and Policy strategy and results for Colombia (main market), Perú, and Ecuador. You will proactively shape the external environment in favor of Kenvue's priorities, engaging key decision-makers in policy. Key Responsibilities Creates and executes impact-driven strategies to shape and influence the external environment. Maps and engages key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Kenvue's policies and business practices. Builds trust within the organization and enhances reputation with key external stakeholders including elected officials and their staff, regulatory authorities, government agencies, media, NGOs, and advocacy groups. Identifies and communicates key trends that are relevant to Kenvue's business. Translates Government Affairs & Policy related work into relevant business-driven insights. Develops a strong understanding of the Company's business including our people, operations, and external operating environment. Directs and is responsible for the activities and compliance of external consultants. Provides leadership for executive/senior level stakeholder engagement in key countries, in partnership with Communications and Public Affairs. Works collaboratively with the regional and global government and public affairs organization, implementing and sharing best practices. Provides advice and collaborates with key business leaders on governmental issues to develop contingent business strategies and/or crisis management. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of government affairs and policy initiatives with other business functions. Provides strategic counsel to senior management on issues related to corporate reputation, public policy, and stakeholder engagement. Manages budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal use of company resources. Supports the development and is responsible for implementing Government Affairs & Policy strategy in Colombia, Ecuador, and Perú, leveraging insights from deep internal and external networks, multi-stakeholder insights, and a broad understanding of business and industry priorities. What we are looking for Required Qualifications 10 years' related business/government facing experience particularly in advocacy and policy making. Proven track record in shaping the external environment in Colombia. Ability to deliver metrics-based Government Affairs and Policy results. Sound knowledge of the industry regulatory, sustainability & healthcare policy environment. Ability to interface, develop rapport, and be articulate with Senior Leadership from the Company and with external senior stakeholders. Ability to connect the right people and processes to deliver key business outcomes. Able to foster and develop leaders to meet the growing demands of the Company. Experience of working for government, consultancy, association, or large international company. Proven ability to lead project teams and manage external consultants. Ability to manage internal budgets to strategic planning process. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, international relations, public relations, or political science. Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory making processes in key markets and the geopolitical environment. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead by influence. Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify opportunities and solve complex problems. Experience in crisis and issues management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities. Excellent communication, networking, and influencing skills, including the ability to manage across all levels, regions, and businesses required. Strong written and verbal communication skills required in Spanish and English. Desired Qualifications Strong track record in shaping the external environment in Ecuador and Perú.
