Senior Land Surveyor Geomatics and Professional Surveying is a new, dynamic and innovative leader in land surveying and geomatics, specializing in providing comprehensive surveying solutions for a wide range of industries. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our Bermuda-based team and contribute to our growing portfolio of boundary, topographical, construction, and 3D mapping surveys. This position will take on the lead role in the company, becoming involved in land surveying in and outside the office, alongside business development and management of current and new clients. Key Role And Responsibilities: Conduct accurate boundary, topographical, construction layout surveys, and 3D mapping. Utilize the latest land surveying technologies, including GPS, total stations, robotic instruments, and 3D laser scanners. Analyze and interpret survey data, preparing detailed reports and survey drawings. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national surveying standards and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of field data, measurements, and findings. Mentor junior surveyors and support team development when required. Participate in management meetings to review business, clients, processes, and workflows. Handle general associated communications, billing, and administration responsibilities. The Preferred Candidate Will Have: 5-10 years of professional experience in land surveying. Accreditation and certification in land surveying from a recognized North American institution (US or Canada). Proficient in the use of modern surveying equipment and software, including GPS, total stations, CAD software, and 3D laser scanning technology. Strong understanding of land surveying principles, methods, and regulations. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent professional references, coupled with an innate ability to forge positive long-term relationships.
