Senior Backend Engineer (Kotlin) Gorilla Logic is looking for a senior backend engineer. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client's data architecture, ensuring the availability and reliability of data for analysis and business decision making. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, possesses strong technical skills, and has experience developing scalable data solutions. Responsibilities Work with an agile team to build, maintain, and optimize our client's applications. Mentor fellow developers. Work with DevOps and QA to build a quality-focused CI/CD pipeline. Responsible for code reviews, testing, and delivery of high-quality maintainable code. Work in an Agile environment to define, estimate, and work user stories. Proficient English and communication skills required. Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Technical Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of backend development experience with Kotlin. 3+ years of backend Java development experience. 3+ years of experience using a modern Java framework like Spring or Micronaut. Proficient in designing and implementing scalable backend APIs. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON. Experience with modern enterprise patterns like microservices. Development experience with SQL databases. Demonstrated experience building and maintaining a production application. Bonus Skills Protobuf and gRPC experience. Webhooks integration experience.
