What you will do

- CST working hours;
- Offset the increasing workload of maintenance tasks against OKR work commitments;
- Helping Data Governance iterate and refine rules for the classification system;

- Assisting the Data Governance team in building reports from Snowflake data exports to give visibility into the classification results for Gmail, Gdrive, and S3;
- On-going support and maintenance of our legacy classification systems;
- Understanding regex to build and modify classification rules;
- Ability to build out test infrastructure for ensuring the quality and consistency for the rule evaluations;
- Familiarity with reporting tools and frameworks used to analyze large datasets;

An understanding of service development, in particular, the ability to identify and improve performance problems with the classification service and underlying SQL DB.

Must haves

- 3-5 years experience with Java;
- Experience with Java17+;
- SQL / PRESTO query language skills;
- BigID integration experience;

Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

- Spark development skills;
- Scala development skills;
- RUST;
- ArgoCD / S3 / Kubernetes familiarity;

Tableau Reporting familiarity.
