K2 Integrity is looking for a senior director of operations to join our Financial Crimes Risk Management Practice. The senior director will work closely with the leadership of the FCRM practice on a groundbreaking engagement that involves elements of live payment review, transaction monitoring, and jurisdictional technical assistance. The senior director will be charged with overseeing all aspects of live payment review operations, including assessing and mitigating operational risks, and identifying opportunities for operational and cost efficiencies. The ideal candidate should have experience managing compliance and/or sanctions operations for a bank, fintech or payment processor. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication (written and oral) skills, the ability to grasp complex operational details, and demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking. They should also have experience with U.S. and international AML/CFT regimes, as well as global AML/CFT standards set by organizations such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Wolfsberg Group. Responsibilities: Assess novel and dynamic live payment review process to identify and remediate financial and operational risk on an on-going basis. Develop, implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) in close coordination with team leads and in line with objectives and key results (OKRs) established by FCRM leadership. Work closely with data and tech teams to ensure systems are robust and fit to purpose for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with second line of defense on deployment of policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Proven track record in a leadership role with a focus on operations and financial management, preferably within regulatory compliance. Minimum 10 years of experience working in financial compliance or operations, preferably in cross-border payments or correspondent banking.
