The Position As Senior Director of Medical Affairs and Regulatory Affairs at Novo Nordisk, you will provide strategic leadership and ensure the alignment of medical and regulatory strategies with the organization's goals. This position is based in Bogotá, Colombia and reports directly to Affiliate's GM.
This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, regulatory compliance, and external engagement to support product development, approval, and lifecycle management. Your key responsibilities will be:
Lead and mentor medical and regulatory teams to foster innovation and high performance.Develop and implement medical education programs, scientific engagement, and publication strategies.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across product development and post-marketing activities.Collaborate with clinical, commercial, and quality teams to align strategies with business objectives.Build and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, key opinion leaders, and medical societies.Qualifications You have a Medical Degree; MD or PhD in life sciences is preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical affairs and regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Fluent level of English is expected.In-depth understanding of medical affairs and regulatory requirements, including experience with global regulatory submissions and interactions.Proven track record of successful leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders effectively.About the Department You will be part of Novo Nordisk Colombia affiliate, where we are having a fast growth and business transformation moment.
