Summary: As the DevOps engineer at Helios, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, deployment, and management of our full-stack HCM platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of our software solutions. This role requires a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of DevOps best practices. Responsibilities: Leadership: Leads the design, build, and operational management of highly secure and scalable sites/software for the business. Strategically works to guarantee the reduction or removal of bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the DevOps department and engineering department as a whole. Develop and implement DevOps strategies to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our HCM platform. Design and implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our applications. Drive optimization initiatives to improve resource utilization, cost-effectiveness, and overall system performance. Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance our DevOps toolchain and stay ahead of industry trends. Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure etc.) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.) to support scalable and resilient deployments. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with software development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline the deployment pipeline and automate release processes. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define technical requirements and roadmap priorities. Establish and maintain documentation for configuration management, deployment processes, and infrastructure architecture. Qualifications: Proven experience within DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams. Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of HCM and global payments systems is highly desirable. Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing a transition plan from an outsourced provider. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
