The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for the data and analytics that drives reporting, insights, and intelligence around experience and performance analytics impact - guiding the continued reporting and optimization of our business.
The primary responsibility of this position is to be the day-to-day lead on experience analytics performance, using thoughtful analysis to tackle core projects, answer questions and make recommendations.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, unrelentingly curious, passionate about data and technology, values insightful reporting, and can effectively understand, illustrate, and transform data into clearly communicated insights.
Responsibilities:Lead experience analytics performance on a day-to-day basis.Utilize thoughtful analysis to tackle core projects and provide recommendations.Translate data into insights through data cleansing, manipulation, and visualization.Manage cross-team projects autonomously to provide insight on complex business problems.Minimum Requirements:4+ years of experience working with data analytics and/or business analytics.Strong proficiency with Python including knowledge and understanding of the following packages: Pandas, NumPy; experience with Matplotlib and DataPrep is a plus.Strong understanding of utilizing Python to connect to external data sources and publish final data outputs to a centralized location.Intermediate proficiency with Tableau including the ability to establish primary data sources, build detailed/robust visualizations, and centralize within a comprehensive dashboard view.Understanding of Tableau calculation methodology (i.e.
fixed level calculations, creating parameters/sets, etc.)
is strongly preferred.Solid foundations in data science fundamentals, particularly OO, data structures, and algorithms.Driven by innovation, curiosity, and an appreciation of technology.Academic background in data analytics, data science, marketing analytics, finance, economics, mathematics, or related discipline.
