Senior Corporate Accountant | Colombia-WFH We are looking for a skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to join our rapidly growing accounting team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This individual will need to be able to pick things up quickly and be able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly journal entries for prepaid accounts if needed. Prepare monthly accrual journal entries for various opex areas. Liaise with business and finance & strategy team on estimate of accruals. Independently identify variances and propose adjustments to the general ledger. Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations with an in-depth analysis. Prepare the GL flux analysis on a monthly basis to identify GL variances period over period and explain the business drivers of the variances. Support SOX requests on prepaid and accrual areas to ensure compliance with SOX key controls. Record intercompany transactions for assigned international entities as needed. Record cost plus journal entries as needed. Respond to internal and external requests. Assist with ad hoc projects as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 5+ years of total experience. Understanding of GAAP standards. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Experience with Oracle Cloud. Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets. Hands-on experience in the financial close process (preferred).
