LRQA is seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in ESG and consulting to join our Advisory team in Bogotá and accelerate the development and growth of our strategic ESG due diligence, risk management, and special investigation work. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate professional to join our team and support clients to address their most pressing sustainability and supply chain challenges. This role will require an investigative and curious mindset and an individual who can approach social and environmental due diligence and risk management from a strategic, problem-solving angle. We are looking for individuals who can critically assess situations to identify risks and challenges for our clients as well as develop innovative solutions. This role will be client-facing and require direct engagement with clients' Sustainability/ESG, Social Compliance, or Procurement teams. You will work with private-sector clients, many of which are major global and regional companies, spanning a variety of sectors, including consumer goods, retail, food/agriculture, real estate, and finance. You will be part of the Latin America Advisory team and will work with, and learn from, LRQA experts from teams across the globe. Independently manage and contribute to the delivery of ESG/sustainability consulting projects. This will include team management, client engagement, project administration, quality control, and internal reporting Independently contribute to business development through proposal writing, pipeline management, pitches/presentations, client cultivation, and raising LRQA's profile Manage staff allocated to projects and contribute to broader team development through mentoring, training, and promoting a positive open team atmosphere Partner with senior leaders, customer leads, and other product leads to support/lead the design and development of effective programs, products, and services that respond to client needs Uphold standards of LRQA platforms and systems, including project management systems, business development systems, and other processes Experience & Requirements - what do you bring to the table? 5-7+ years of proven experience in responsible sourcing, social and environmental due diligence, ESG-focused investor relations, sustainability strategy, or similar required A Master's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field preferred ESG/sustainability consulting or responsible sourcing experience, including management of project teams and business development, required Experience and expertise in ESG due diligence, risk management, or investigation work (but with a flexible, strategic and problem-solving approach) preferred Expertise in ratings, standards, and regulatory frameworks (such as HREDD legislation, ESG ratings, EU taxonomy, TCFD, SBTi, CDP, GRI, SASB, NFRD/CSRD, etc.) and proven ability to translate this expertise into needs-based solutions and results Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English required; fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
