Senior Bookkeeper (Spanish Bilingual)

This is a remote position.
Scope: Full Time - 40 hours a week Monday-Friday -(This will be flexible and can be discussed)  Review and manage financial data for multiple clients Collaborate with junior bookkeepers to improve overall accuracy and efficiency Assist in developing and implementing best practices for financial management Contribute to the growth of the firm by maintaining high standards of work Potential for client communication and relationship management in the future Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries for accurate financial reporting Perform payroll reconciliations and ensure payroll accuracy Review and validate financial statements prepared by junior bookkeepers Analyze and reduce the use of "Ask My Accountant" items Conduct thorough reviews of categorized transactions Assist in improving processes and workflows for better efficiency Handle advanced accounting tasks as needed Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a focus on advanced tasks Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Wave accounting software Strong understanding of journal entries, payroll processes, and financial statement preparation Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot and correct errors Good communication skills in English Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with US accounting standards and practices IMPORTANT!!
