Title And Summary Senior Analyst, Collections Overview Mastercard is a global leader in the payments industry, committed to connecting and empowering businesses and individuals around the world. As a Mastercard Advanced Collector, you will play a critical role in our mission to enable secure and convenient transactions while safeguarding financial ecosystems. You will join a dynamic team focused on managing and optimizing our collections processes to ensure the smooth operation of our payment network. Role As a Mastercard Advanced Collector, your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the collections activities related to outstanding payments and debts within the organization. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing accounts, contacting customers, negotiating payment terms, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Collections Management: Monitor and track outstanding payments, debts, and delinquent accounts. Customer Contact: Engage with customers via phone, email, or other communication channels to discuss overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans. Payment Resolution: Work diligently to resolve outstanding balances and bring accounts back to good standing. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and internal policies in the collection process. Reporting: Generate reports and provide regular updates on collection performance and trends to management. Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders while upholding Mastercard's professional standards. All About You Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Prior experience in collections, credit management, or a similar role is highly desirable. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve outstanding balances. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to record keeping and data accuracy is crucial. Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to draw insights from collection data. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the collections field. Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset and the ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy. Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to challenging priorities and embrace new technologies and tools. Team Player: Collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
