Position Overview: Our Bogota Office is currently seeking for a Senior Consultant for our Advisory team. The ideal candidate will be based in the Bogota office to work on a variety of engagements in the Americas providing advice to our clients related to the procurement, structuring, and financing of a broad range of infrastructure projects (that include transportation, energy, water, telecommunications, and others) with focus on private sector participation and sustainability principles. *This role is based in Bogotá, Colombia. We do not require copies of diplomas, work certifications, or other documents at this stage.* The opportunity: Project execution and delivery: lead teams for deal advisory, due diligence, monitoring during construction and O&M stages, and consulting projects. Conduct business planning, economic, contractual, and/or financial analysis as required for each project assignment. Prepare financial models for feasibility assessment, fund raising, value for money assessments, infrastructure M&A transaction support, procurement (shadow-models) and acquisition bid case development. Manage multi-disciplinary teams and mentor and develop mid-level/junior staff to develop analytical and consulting skills. Develop, manage, and lead client relationships and engagements by leveraging internal and external resources focusing on quality deliverables. Consult with clients to identify needs and goals for each assignment. Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks with clients. Review commercial issues of proposals to ensure the appropriate risk allocation for the company. Identify and lead pre-positioning activities for future work and lead proposal efforts and deliver commercial and financial results for the firm. The skills: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture or similar required. Minimum 6–10 years of relevant technical advisory and/or project management experience, or 8+ years if you hold an MBA or a master's degree in finance. Advanced level written, verbal, presentation and communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels in English is required. Experience in infrastructure project delivery, project financing, and expertise in delivering impactful infrastructure projects aligned with a sustainable development agenda. Specific knowledge in sectors such as transport infrastructure (highways, ports, airports), social infrastructure (healthcare, education, sports) and/or real estate. Experience in projects developed under public-private partnerships, concession and/or project finance structures. Knowledge of the commercial and procurement aspects of P3's and project financing transactions. Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills. Willing to travel to suit our client's needs (both domestic and international travel). Preferred: Master's degree in business administration and/or finance. Knowledge in financial modeling. Track-record of leading and managing successful teams across multiple engagements. PM's accreditation. Please note that all applicants must apply directly via the job portal.
