Financial Command Center: Career Overview Be part of our client's team as a Senior Accountant responsible for overseeing financial transactions, producing monthly reports, and supporting audits and analytics.
You'll ensure accuracy in Accounts Payable/Receivable, GL postings, and monthly reconciliations, contributing directly to our client's financial integrity and operational efficiency in the hospitality sector.
Employment type: Indefinite term type contract Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST.
Work setup: Onsite, Bogotá Balance the Ledger: Responsibilities Assist the Finance, Accounting, & Analytics (FAA) team in gaining control over all financial transactions.
Produce monthly financial reports to ensure accountability and support management decision-making.
Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions weekly for timely and accurate processing and posting.
Ensure all cash, revenue, and AP are posted to the GL, including reviewing monthly bank reconciliations.
Confirm correct payroll allocations for each property.
Review GL for potential accruals and collaborate with other departments to calculate accruals.
Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including rollforwards from year to year.
Responsible for monthly closing of multiple properties.
Review and vet variances for budget comparison reporting purposes.
Conduct monthly P&L calls with operations.
Support annual audit and tax processes, including preparing PBC schedules.
Assist in the annual budget process for properties under management by collaborating closely with Asset Management and Operations teams.
Participate in monthly asset performance calls with partners/owners.
Complete state and local tax filings as required.
Work with tax teams to ensure timely completion of year-end filings for Fed and State.
Prepare and maintain all funding requests (capital calls, draws, etc.)
and collections as needed.
Prepare Cash Flow and Pre-opening expense schedules as required.
Prepare payment runs for multiple properties.
Prepare monthly reporting packages for owners and lenders across multiple properties.
Prepare CAM reconciliations and Retail tenant lease abstracts.
Develop SOPs for all FAA processes you participate in.
