Job Title: Security Service Technician Location: Columbia, MD Salary: $50-$75k Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
Conduct system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation of security solutions.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
Conduct diagnostic tests and utilize troubleshooting tools to analyze system performance.
Provide remote and on-site support to address client concerns and maintain system functionality.
Qualifications: Minimum high school degree/GED required.
Relevant trade certification preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the installation and maintenance of security systems, with experience on projects of $100K minimum.
1 to 2 product-specific certifications helpful; industry-specific certifications desired; must have or be able to obtain applicable state and/or local required industry licenses as required by state law; must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
