PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The Premium Hub-Center of Expertise (CoE) within SAP Premium Engagement and Advisory provides expertise in application and technology areas to deliver high-end support to our MaxAttention, Active Attention, and Value Assurance customers. As CoE Consultant for Logistics, you will analyze End to End processes of our global customers and present the results of your findings and recommendations to IT managers and executives. Your area of responsibility will extend to some of the following tasks: Conduct functional design workshops, identify issues/risks, and provide recommendations to optimize business processes, system automation, and system landscape. Support critical customer escalation and drive critical issues to resolution, building a trusted advisor relationship with the customer. Support customer implementations and provide architectural inputs and best practices for business processes. Conduct deep root cause analysis with technical and programming skills, providing solutions in complex environments. Provide support as De-escalation Architects to identify top issues and create action plans. Provide industry knowledge and support the development of support services for new products/components. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES The ideal candidate will have at minimum a bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or engineering. Functional expertise with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Willingness to travel to SAP customers worldwide; occasional weekend work may be required. WORK EXPERIENCE 3+ years of experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions. Experience in green field implementation and brown field conversion of GTS 11.0 to SAP GTS Edition for HANA. Expertise in SAP GTS sub-processes such as compliance management and customs management. Good understanding of end-to-end SAP Logistics and supply chain processes. Technical expertise in SAP systems and integration architecture.
