Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Developer We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Developer to join the Consumer Communications Operations team supporting overall development and program management of all things email. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with the ability to understand complex email structures and responsive templates in any email platform. You should have experience in end-to-end testing of email development, deployment, Quality Assurance (QA), and best practices. We're looking for someone who has extensive experience in building mobile responsive templates on any platform. You should be comfortable collaborating and providing support across multiple teams while working directly in SFMC. You will: Build and deploy marketing emails and push notifications in SFMC. Work with various stakeholders such as marketing teams, analytics, and more to plan out future email optimizations. Collaborate with our internal design team on best practices for accessible email structure and design. Develop mobile-responsive email templates for consistency in formatting while recommending options for alternative solutions to complex issues. Be the subject matter expert (SME) on our current email platform, SFMC, and manage proposals to support any additional needs for the business to enhance our productivity/goals. Create and maintain all technical documents for our most complicated emails. Prioritize, evolve, and pivot with demanding business needs. Evolve and improve email processes for email development and QA. Manage all aspects of our Email Platform functionality (dynamic content, A/B testing, deeplinking, etc). Evaluate and improve our QA process with stakeholders. Participate in code review and QA of email builds with the team. You have: 3 - 5 years of experience hand-coding complex email templates in SFMC, Exact Target, or equivalent Email Service Provider (ESP). Expert knowledge in CSS/HTML. Proficient with SQL and AMPscript/JavaScript. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Understanding of end-to-end testing and QA best practices. Proficiency with design formats in Figma/Photoshop/Illustrator and slicing of images. Ability to prioritize workload and identify risks and blockers. Proficient use of JIRA, Asana, and other productivity tools. Use of tools like Litmus/Email on Acid. Self-starter and detail/process-oriented for maintaining error-free deployments. Very good cross-functional communication and negotiation skills. Great organization skills and process-oriented thinking. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification is a plus.
