This position reports to Region Division Head Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective Drives sales strategy within the specified market scope of Colombia and Ecuador, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance. The work model for the role is: hybrid. This role is contributing to the Sales team in Colombia and Ecuador. You will be mainly accountable for: Anticipating and identifying customers' needs and aligning them with the Drives portfolio. Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determining plans for implementation, and allocating required resources. Planning and executing product strategies according to market requirements. Participating in the negotiation of key contracts. Leading local pricing strategy and assuring the division's profitability. Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering (mandatory). MBA or specialization in Marketing (desirable). You are highly skilled in portfolio management and the electrical distribution market, specifically with variable speed drives for medium and low voltage. You have 10 years of experience in commercial roles, including sales, technical sales, or related functions. You possess enhanced knowledge of low and medium voltage drives and electrical distribution portfolios. You are passionate about business strategy, market intelligence, customer experience success, and pricing excellence. You are at ease communicating in advanced English.
