The role will oversee the development and implementation of Commercial Strategy for the LATAM Market, ensuring alignment with CPL corporate brand identity and vision. This position will provide leadership to the LATAM Commercial Team, overseeing day-to-day operations, people management and the financial frameworks. Additonally, the Sales Manager will focus on managing strategic target customers. Responsibilities Deliver effective Commercial Strategy Communicate CPL mission and purpose and ensure LATAM Sales Team meet company values Define and execute commercial strategy for LATAM Market and defined customers in line with Global and Regional CPL Vision Develop strategic sales, marketing and operational objectives, establish targets, manage forecast and evaluate sales teams' performance Manage defined strategic customers to develop sustainable profitable business Establish commercial operating framework to ensure profitability and revenue targets are met Produce monthly sales reports and contribute to GM Reports for LATAM Division Forecast and Profitability Responsibilities Full accountability for sales revenue & profitability in LATAM Market Provide annual sales and accurate forecasts Ensure accurate LATAM sales report and analysis Manage the LATAM Sales Team / Leadership Build, lead and develop an effective & efficient LATAM Sales Team driving sales and margin growth in line with CPL Global & LATAM Division Strategy Agree clear performance & people development objectives with annual appraisals to ensure targets are achieved Define development plans for LATAM Sales including training and coaching of the individual sales team member Foster and facilitate collaboration between LATAM Sales team and other functions to ensure sales success and customer satisfaction Develop excellent relationship with internal and external clients to execute commercial strategy Ensure preparation of compelling account plans for strategic customers to support the execution of the commercial strategy Change Management & Future Business Opportunities Adopt and manage change management strategies within LATAM Sales Team Develop a strategy to capture and maintain a competitive intelligence database, ensuring accuracy of information Share market & competitive intelligence insights to ensure appropriate action is taken to position CPL as a choice of consideration Identify business development opportunities in LATAM for integration into regional and global CPL strategy Qualifications 10-15+ years of functional/technical experience in the fragrance industry University degree; MBA or postgraduate degree in Business preferred Extensive experience in the fragrance industry, passion for fragrance Experience negotiating complex sales agreements with multiple customers Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead commercial teams Competence in olfactory skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in English, both verbal and written Excellent oral and written communication skills Good project management skills Results-oriented and strong problem-solving abilities Strong knowledge of Windows environment (MS Office) and ERP systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
