The V&P Sales Engineer manages the assigned resources to meet customers' needs within the context of promoting sales of all assigned valves, pumps, and cleaning technology products.
S/he reports to the SFT Head of Sales, responsible for new machines and service sales within the assigned product group or application cluster in the country.
This includes the revenue responsibility for €1 million.
The main goal is to detail and implement the cluster sales strategy, perform sales planning/forecasting, and develop the product portfolio (in close cooperation with the V&P Sales Steering Manager) and drive revenues through proficient management of the different routes to market that each market may require and that the V&P Sales Engineer needs to prospect.
Special focus is on new machines and spare parts delivery and meeting customer needs while promoting the 'GEA' vision - a coordinated approach to sales across the entire organization.
S/he is encouraged to think innovatively and to embrace modern new product development and theories.
The V&P Sales Engineer must have comprehensive market knowledge which includes a full view of potential, competitors, and the competitive environment.
The V&P Sales Engineer should be proactive, self-driven, resilient, sales-oriented, and possess business acumen.
Your responsibilities and tasks:Actively managing customers through different routes to market.Responsibility to deliver the Budget.Operate in partnership with other business and/or divisions' sales engineers, service technicians, and other team members to identify "up-sell" and "cross-sell" opportunities to maximize revenue and improve overall customer experience.Manage individual day-to-day activities with responsibility for multiple applications to ensure a consistent approach and optimized performance.Lead new applications sales activities within defined cluster, allocate resources, and prioritize initiatives.GEA is an equal opportunity employer.
