Skills Strong knowledge of tax regulations related to trusts, estates, and gifts Proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax returns Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks Strong leadership and supervisory skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Responsibilities Assist in overseeing the estate and trust department, including supervising staff members Help manage and monitor deadlines for tax return submissions Analyze estate and trust documents to ensure accurate tax filings Prepare and review estate, trust, and gift tax returns Prepare and review individual income tax returns Provide support to the administrative department, including assembling and producing completed tax returns and managing extension requests Generate E-Filing reports and track outstanding E-File requirements as needed Monitor firm budgets against actual client productivity Perform additional duties as assigned by partners Qualifications Bachelors degree in accounting At least 5 years of experience in preparing and reviewing trust, estate, gift, and individual tax returns A minimum of 2 years of experience supervising staff and reviewing tax returns Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder Education Requirements Bachelors degree in accounting is required.
