As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, managing data, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the sales team in daily operations, including managing schedules, organizing sales data, and preparing reports.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, to maintain and analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and generate financial reports.
- Conduct thorough research on the internet and within databases to gather relevant market and competitor information.
- Understand and apply concepts of sales margins, retail, wholesale, and distribution channels to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze Profit and Loss (P) statements to identify trends, forecast sales, and recommend adjustments to improve profitability.
- Learn and execute complex, repetitive procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring that all goals and deadlines are met.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-motivation and goal orientation.
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth.
The Profile
Qualifications :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Excellent English communication skills,
both written and verbal to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
- Ability to learn and perform complex, repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Solid understanding of sales, margins, and the ability to interpret P statements.
- Familiarity with retail, wholesale, and retail distribution channels.
- Skilled in conducting internet and database research.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a sales assistant or similar role.
- Experience in the retail or wholesale industry.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
