Sales Account Representative At Pacifica Continental, we are working with a global leader in the food industry, known for its extensive expertise in the production and distribution of high-quality protein products. This company operates on an international scale, supplying a variety of markets with beef, poultry, and pork products, and is recognized for its innovation, sustainability efforts, and commitment to excellence in the food supply chain. In this role, you will manage established accounts as well as prospect new business. Responsibilities: Manage sales for accounts using market and product knowledge. Regular contact and follow-up with all accounts to meet their needs on product. Work daily with pricing and margin management to give current pricing to accounts to generate sales. Assist in tying orders to make full trucks in responsible area. Awareness on market conditions, trends and competition pricing and report to margin management. Multi-task efficiently. Develop sales plans and organize administrative responsibilities. Own and execute sales-related KPIs in agreement with management. Maintain good working relationships with both internal and external customers. Communicate shorts, on-time deliveries and order status to customers and maintain high customer service levels. Ability to travel, as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: BS/BA degree preferred in Agriculture Business, Meat Science, Business, Marketing or Animal Science. Minimum 5 years or more experience in meat sales or comparable field. Previous management experience preferred. Excellent phone and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in an office environment. Team player. Microsoft Office skills.
