The RTR Jr. Lead is accountable for managing procedures/activities in the timely and efficient execution of GL processes for their assigned Business Unit(s). As part of the Global Shared Services division, they will support the integration of new organizations or entities within the company and provide leadership in the continued development of the RTR division into a world-class customer service organization. Specific Responsibilities : Accountable for the daily management of team activities, including serving as the technical leader for assigned area of responsibility. Conduct regular meetings that include issue discussions. Resolve issues as appropriate and escalate issues further as needed. Train new hires on current processes and systems; train all staff on any new processes or systems that are integrated into the RTR area. Ensure department systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies. Seek and recommend process improvements for departmental procedures. Participate in and actively support the integration of new businesses into Shared Services Center. Ensure to follow the Corporate Closing Calendar and all task deadlines are reached with accuracy and quality expected. Enforce and enhance internal control structure and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control objectives. Support Internal and External Audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner, and internal Balance Sheet Reviews performed by Corporate Controllership and BU Controllership Teams. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in SBD's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP). Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes including experience in the RTR processes (GL Accounting). Ability to multitask, highly organized. Ability to drive the completion of critical tasks. Excellent problem identification and prioritization. Experience in training others on highly technical processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Understanding of some internal control activities and practices. Demonstrated penchant for continuous improvement of managerial skills. Goal oriented, ability to reach tight deadlines. Must be able to communicate in English in a fluent manner. Knowledge/experience in US GAAP is a plus. Education/Experience: Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting with 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in a lead role in a finance or accounting function required is a plus. Experience in ERP migration, HFM and Black Line is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
