SAP Netweaver / ABAP Specialist - Remote in Colombia Main Activities / Responsibilities: Align IT solutions to the goals of LafargeHolcim's lines of business. Proactively offer solutions and enhancements which leverage best practices while managing enterprise expectations. Consider all product variations across current product lines, and meet the most variants possible, in the most cost-effective manner. Ensure that solutions are in compliance with Group and Regional internal control procedures and security policy. Capability to quickly sketch a design complex concept and estimate effort based on business requirements. Responsibility for gatekeeping, optimizing system performance and avoiding system design deficiencies relating to the overall application landscape. Leading collaborative design discussions with key stakeholders across IT and business to ensure design is consistent, accurate, flexible and scalable. Responsible for providing expertise and approvals during the development phase, test planning, and ensuring solutions meet the overall design requirements for the application landscape. Following all established design standards and suggesting improvements when they are needed. Providing technical support to regional and global initiatives and projects. Provide technical user support. Provide support to other colleagues in terms of technical/functional expertise with the assigned business processes. Oversee all the technical configuration and development. Approve all technical functional design documents, after complete and full review. Job Scope: Portfolio of all 25-30 applications integrating with ECC. Involvement in nearly all ITSC projects and changes related to application implementation, enhancement or integration. Between 10-20 mid to large size projects per year. Knowledge, Experience and Competencies: Qualifications: University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline. ITIL Service Management Certification is desired. SAP ABAP Development certification is desired. Required Experience: Minimum 6 years experience in ABAP, ABAP Object, ABAP Proxy, ABAP WebDynpro, SAP Forms, Sapscript, SAP Workflow, ALE, IDOC, BADI Enhancement and GuiXT. Desired Experience: Experience in programming languages (JAVA, Python). Experience in SAP PI 7.X. Experience in SAP Functional Modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, PS, QM, etc.). Experience with SAP Gateway. Soft Skills: Ability to communicate openly and effectively with a variety of Business Stakeholders and IT colleagues. Proactive in terms of alerting management to deviations and risks that may require a modification to the proposed design or scope. High willingness to drive transformation and service improvement. Keen understanding of key concepts and technologies related to integrating SAP with 3rd party software and middleware technologies. Experience with J2EE, Java WebDynpro and SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0+. Experience with System Landscape Directory, Integration Repository, Integration Directory and the Runtime Workbench. Knowledge of Floor Plan Manager, LDAP, WebPage Composer, easyWCM. Proficient understanding of SAP SD, MM, HR, PP, PM, PS and FICO modules. Understanding of SAP Security, Roles and Profiles. Knowledge of ABAP programming language is mandatory. Cooperatively work with Architecture, Project team and key business stakeholders to adapt to the changing strategies, funding decisions, risks, and organizational direction. Able to evaluate project complexity, constraints, risks and dependencies and effectively relay suitable information to key stakeholders. Understanding of IT service delivery and IT Service Management concepts and procedures. Desired Skills: ABAP. ABAP + GuiXT. SAP Netweaver Customizations. SAP Cloud Platform programming.
