Remote Bookkeeping and Financial Management Expert Location: Remote (8 AM to 5 PM CST) Company: About Us: We are a dynamic and growing company in technology and real estate, seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeping and financial management expert to join our team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere within the specified hours. Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional to handle various aspects of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping, account management, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, tax preparation, payroll management, account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, recording financial transactions, and managing contractors' W9s. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping and Financial Transactions: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in the accounting system. Account Management: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and vendor payments. Financial Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide regular financial updates to management. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets. Perform financial forecasting to guide business decisions. Tax Preparation and Compliance: Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and manage audits or inquiries from tax authorities. Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and on time. Calculate wages, withhold taxes, and ensure timely payment to employees. Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts. Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly. Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, ensuring accurate recording and appropriate categorization. Implement cost-saving measures where possible. Contractor Management: Manage W9 forms and related documentation for contractors. Ensure compliance with contractor payment regulations. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure financial accuracy.
